In the new TV report “How German UNESCO Site Bamberg Preserves the Past for the Future,” CGTN Europe explores how Bamberg preserves and develops its World Heritage Site.

Under the theme “World Heritage and Crafts,” an exciting series of workshops and a special exhibition will take place at the Bamberg World Heritage Center from October through December. 

To mark the 80th anniversary of the United Nations, a class of elementary school students from the Domschule in the World Heritage city of Bamberg took part in an interactive workshop on community, international cooperation, and peace. 

The Bamberg World Heritage Center welcomed the management training program from the Bavarian State Chancellery for a professional exchange on World Heritage management.

As part of the “World Heritage and Crafts” project, students from the University of Bamberg gained fascinating insights into the traditional work of the Cathedral Workshop and its importance for the preservation of World Heritage sites. 

Protecting World Heritage and promoting sustainable development can only be achieved through collective effort.
